Starting this fall I have been back in school, deepening my practical skills in game design at FutureGames Academy. We have had intense crash courses in UDK and Unity and we are currently prototyping and preparing for our second game projects, going into production in January. Below is a screen of my groups’ first game project, Panic! at the Tea Party. Click the image to read more about it and the the rest of the games made by my class. As a designer I worked with UDK and it’s visual scripting system, Kismet.
I’m really enjoying working with projects and making games again. As I learn more I feel more and more capable of making my own games. For someone who sees themselves as just a humble graphics artist it is a very empowering feeling, being able to not only visual but also realize one’s ideas.
